Lost Sheep Game
Game for our Bible Story
In PreK we like to play games to practice skills. We begin with simple games and play some of them over and over again with different themes. Sometimes I use our Bible Story as a basis for one of our math games, like the Lost Sheep Game.
In the Lost Sheep Game, students spin the spinner to figure out which sheep they must rescue. They find the sheep lost on the hillside and return it to its pen in the correct space.
The game pieces are part of the game. I attached them to water bottle lids, which makes them much easier to pick up that simply laminating the pieces.

Game for Healthy Habits
This year I assembled a new game to go along with our Healthy Habits theme. I may also use this game during our farm theme later in the year. You can find the game at ABC to ACTS.
Instead of using the pig as a mat, I created a stand up pig from a powdered cheese container. I covered the container with a foam sheet, added a pipe cleaner curly tail, and taped the pig to the front after laminating and cutting out. I did reinforce the laminated pig with a couple popsicle sticks on the back so the laminated part would not bend while playing.

Fun Freebie for Dental Health
If you are working on Dental Health this month, I have a quick freebie for you with my Count and Clip cards.
I laminate these and place a small sticker on the back where the correct answer is for self checking.
